Air Partner plc, the global aviation services group, is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Dubai as it looks to extend its offering to the Middle East and grow market share in the region.

The office, which is located in Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), offers Air Partner’s full suite of Charter solutions, comprising Group Charter, Private Jets and Freight. In addition, clients have access to the Group’s Consulting & Training services in Aviation Safety Management and Fatigue Risk Management.

It is headed up by Jobby George, who was recently appointed as General Manager. Jobby has extensive experience in VIP and commercial aviation in the region, having previously worked at Chapman Freeborn in Dubai for nine years, most recently as Commercial Manager for Middle East & India. Prior to this, he held sales and finance roles at Air Partner for five years, also in Dubai.

The Dubai office is the fourth Air Partner office to be opened in the last 18 months, following openings in Los Angeles in June 2018 and Houston and Singapore in early 2019, as the Group continues to invest for future organic growth.

Customers have access to Air Partner’s full 24-hour flight operations centre, ensuring they have instant, year-round access to the Group’s services and expertise, wherever they are in the world and whatever the time.

The owner-operated logistics company Röhlig continued to expand its global network in 2019.

Mexico: New national subsidiary

In Mexico, Röhlig has acquired 100 percent of the shares in its previous joint venture. “We now operate independently in the Mexican market under the name Röhlig,” says Michael Gerding, Managing Director of Röhlig Mexico.

“Mexico is an important industrial location for the Americas. Numerous international companies produce there, especially those from the automotive industry. For our local customers, we want to be present in this dynamic region with our own subsidiary, ” says Ulrike Baum, member of the Röhlig Global Executive Board, outlining the strategic approach.

As part of the expansion of its local presence, Röhlig Mexico has also opened another office in Puebla. “Several of our major customers are based in Puebla,  and the region is generally regarded as the headquarters of the automotive industry in Mexico,” explains Michael Gerding. Röhlig Mexico now has branches operating in Mexico City, Monterrey and Puebla.

Further new locations in China, USA, Australia

Röhlig has opened  five additional offices in three countries worldwide over the past several months. Röhlig attaches great importance to being represented in booming regions all over the world.

In this way, the logistics company supports its customers in developing their local business with local know-how and at the same time offers them a connection to its global network. In China, Röhlig has expanded its presence in the west of the country with three new offices, namely Chengdu, Chongqing and Xi’an. West China is projected to be a new major manufacturing hub, a future air freight hub, and a gateway for rail transport between Asia and Europe.

In the United States, Röhlig now also operates from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area is one of the most economically important markets in the USA. And in Australia, Röhlig has opened a location in Newcastle, New South Wales, a region with great economic potential.
